I've always enjoyed the stories and movies where it's left up to the reader or audience to decide what's really going in. (I'm thinking right now about "The Blair Witch Project.")
In my short story “Jayne’s Room,” a babysitter learns that there’s something truly creepy about her highly unchildlike charge. And why does young Jayne keep using the pronoun “we” to refer to herself? Could be, there’s something supernatural going on ….
