Being appreciative and not taking anything for granted. 99.9% of people who spew those catchy mantras like “live life to the fullest” and “don’t take anything for granted” aren’t even following their own advice. But how do you cultivate such extreme levels of appreciation to begin with?
A lack of adversity in our lives. We’re fat, lazy, and stupid because we can afford to be fat, lazy, and stupid. But we have the nerve to act like our lives are somehow rough, like we’ve got it bad, like our shitty lives aren’t the product of our own design. Design your life or your life will design you.
