This is the 5th installment of our container building #holidaysurvivalguides and #holidaytipsandtricks. We've been building for over a month now and things are getting (at least for me) more pressured, busy, and demanding on time, resources, and NOs and YESes. So let's talk about it- I don't want to pretend that I don't have days where I wonder where my boundaries went or wish I had not put so many things in my schedule, but I'm trying and using the tools, some days are just more taxing than others. In this episode, I will take us through a Somatic Experiencing exercise to help us hold and acknowledge that we have needs, wants, and desires those are human things and are normal - this exercise will help us sit with those needs, wants, and desires and express and perhaps release some of the tension that comes with not getting those met and also having them stored in our bodies.
