In January 2017 Sanjana and Nandini set out to raise money to support the need for a cause they were passionate about, funding cleft lip surgeries across the world. While still in high school, they set out on a mission to sell bracelets to support the cause and formed Side By Side Smiles. What started as a small initiative quickly took a turn to a much larger audience wanting to help support the cause.
