On this episode we discussed the social norms regarding marriage and children.

 Although some of these norms may be similar we focus more on norms in our Cameroonian culture and households. We share our thoughts on marriage and children both in our personal lives and from what we have seen in our communities.

 It is important to discuss both the positive and negative aspects of this topic. Some of the narratives we continue to enforce in our society are detrimental and dangerous to our wellbeing. 

We discuss tragic situations in the African communities in the USA that led murders and suicide. We have to take the time to understand what we are doing wrong and what is detrimental to some of our communities.  It's important that we learn to respect everyone's choices when it comes to marriage and children even when they are different from societal norms.
