Today's conversation is with speaker and ministry leader, Manda Carpenter. Manda is a wife and foster mom living in Chicago. Her focus is investing in women and encouraging them to grow their relationship with God and leadership of self and others. 

We spend time talking about how #impressingisexhausting and how becoming owners of our junk can allow us to experience freedom. Manda shares how God brought her out of her own shame and how His grace creates beautiful transformation.    Our chat also digs into the busy of everyday life and how necessary it is for our souls to refuel. Manda tells how she wasn't fully present during some seasons of her life and saw a need to create space. She shares that space used well isn't selfish and if Jesus needed time away to rest, then we certainly can't get away without giving our minds, souls, and bodies space as well.
