In episode 177, Rob and Kristie are joined by Austin Pistulka, produce of 96.9 the Game's Open Mike morning sports show. We learn about Austin's background as he was raised in Nebraska and he attended the University of Nebraska obtaining his journalism degree and started his journey into radio by covering the Corn Huskers football games and wrestling matches. He then continues with e the story of how he became a producer and on air talent for Orlando's #1 morning sports talk show. Next, we ump into some college football talk by discussing Kirk Herbstreit's recent comments about the College Football Power 5 Invitational on the Paul Finebaum Show. Herbstreit suggests expanded the invitational to 8 teams as he fears the same 3 teams with be in the current format for years to come and people will become disinterested. Rob gets Kristie's and Austin's opinions on whether this will fix this broken "playoff" system. Rob then suggests another way this system may be fixed by adjusting the number of scholarships available to football teams. Then we Hear from Chris Robins aka Detroit Beastie and his latest DFS fantasy advice on the Sports Bliss Fantasy Blitz. Finally, Rob, Kristie, and Austin preview some of the NFL action for this upcoming weekend. And as always they end with a would you rather you won't want to miss.
