Elon Musk is a Game changer in the Science and Space Technology. In this Episode f Spot On Series of Podcasts. We took a look at the entire Space X project and and the vision of Elon Musk for the World.

As we all know the world evolves and nothing is static, so we have decided to switch it up all over. Henceforth it will be know as “SPOT ON.”
My name is Christopher Odiley, and I will be your regular host. Bringing fresh episodes of ground breaking innovations, events, evolution of brands and industries, revealing and publishing stories of great individuals and organisations that changes the world with their actions and creativity

We are dealing with a man who has the capability of changing how the entire world with what has often been referred to by his critics as “craze ideas”.
We are talking about a man born in South Africa, that has risen to become a global phenomenon with network of well over $19billion USD.

Elon Musk This man wants to:

  1. establish a colony in Mars. According to him, this is to “Avoid human extinction”
  2. Pioneer of AGI (Artificial Intelligence) the technology of the future being embraced by all hitech industry heads around the world
  3. Founder and Creator of Solar City
  4. To Infrastructures building and tunnels entities

Elon Musk.
Alright, of all the many adventures of Elon Musk, we are throwing the Spotlight on him today cuz of the SPACE X MISSION.

ABOUT THE SPACE X:
Elon Musk’s space venture SpaceX launched a Falcon 9 Rocket with a payload of 60 satellites as part of the first stage of it’s ‘Starlink’ internet from space project

Cape Canaveral on Thursday.(23/05/2019) The Falcon 9 was launched from Cape Canaveral’s Launch Complex 40 carrying 60 satellites that are expected to be part of a constellation consisting of 12,000 satellites that are intended to provide global broadband internet coverage by 2024.

The Starlink Mission was the heaviest SpaceX payload to date, weighing 18,5 tons (16,782 kilos). The 60 satellites are expected to deliver 1 terabit of bandwidth to Earth.

Believe it or not, The private rocket company, bankrolled by Elon Musk, wants to set up a mega-constellation of thousands of satellites that it calls Starlink..

Benefit of the SPACE X:

  1. Flying 310 miles above the Earth’s surface, the network will supposedly boost web speeds 40-fold.
  2. Starlink is designed to beam the internet to people around the world using an enormous network of satellites.

HOW IT WORKED
The first 60 Starlink satellites were deployed from an unmanned SpaceX rocket in the early hours of Friday morning.

The Falcon 9 spacecraft launched from Florida’s Cape Canaveral Air Force Station.

It’s the first of at least 12 Starlink missions planned by SpaceX as it looks to set up a global network

In total, SpaceX hopes to send up to 12,000 missions – six times more than the total number of satellites currently orbiting Earth.

This massive body of work and project, no doubt has put pressure on Ellon Mask who even agreed d and cautioned that anything can go wrong.

He said: “Starlink’s first launch was “one of the hardest engineering projects I’ve ever seen done.”

Where to after Launch?

Despite the successful launch, SpaceX is still far away from achieving its core objectives of internet accessibility to the billions without internet access around the world.

Six more Falcon launches will be needed before minor broadband coverage is possible on earth.

Experts said up to a dozen launches are required for moderate proportion of internet coverage is achieved.

CRITICS
While this mission and project is dear to our hearts and prove that some human beings are well ahead in vision for the future of a better world, others would tend to be differ as one critic of Elon Musk Space X project pointed out: that Musk’s project could inadvertently “trap humanity on Earth”.

Another put it point blank saying:

“The worst case is: You launch all your satellites, you go bankrupt, and they all stay there,” European Space Agency scientist Dr Stijn Lemmens told Scientific American.

“Then you have thousands of new satellites without a plan of getting them out of there. And you would have a Kessler-type of syndrome.”

Summary:

Well, folks there you have it. Love Musk or like him or hate him, doesn’t really matter cuz his works already has impact in the world and most of all got people talking. As a result, Elon Musk has no doubt attracts the attention of
“SPOT ON” and therefore deserves the spotlight
