This is such a great spin on the film-review podcast genre. Diving into the world of spy movies, breaking them down and picking out the best of the best. I grew up a huuuuge James Bond fan so this podcast gives me some nostalgia at the same time. Listen ASAP, but do so quietly... and secretly... No actually listen and then tell everyone you know.

Special agents Scott & Cam come at the genre of spy cinema from a interesting and unique angle, giving background information on source works, background on film production, all before getting into the marvelous "meat" of their selected film's plot. Well versed, competently prepared, and most of all- quite fun to listen to- this is a great "go to" podcast for those who enjoy spy films and are looking to uncover new gems to view, as well as being a great resource for those who wish to take a deeper dive and gain new insight into the genre on the whole. Fantastic work gentlemen.

The amount of research and dedication that goes into each episode is so clear when you listen to them. Reading the books and watching the films to give the best information, tidbits that were hidden at the end of obscure articles and give a more indepth view of the source material.It's surprising what doesn't qualify as a real spy movie, but at the same time, when Scott and Cameron go into their reasons it all starts to make sense.For the spy connoisseur and the novice.

A great show with a nice variety of in their selection of films. Awesome guests that offer an informed perspective. If you like spy flicks why are you depriving yourself by not subscribing to this pod?

I absolutely enjoy listening 🎧 to the top agents of spy hards and as they cover all types of spy movie whether it's men In black ,hanna, james bond franchise ,the jason bourne series plus the vast amount of special guests, follow them I have some episode bookmark for my ride home

Love this show. Their choice of movies, even just within the Spy Movie Genre, is still wide reaching. Ronin, Taken, Argo.....CONDORMAN!!! Its two mates talking and that makes it a great show - the friendship and love of all things Spy really comes through.Loved the Disavowed list episode too.

I always have fun listening to Scott and Cam (if that is their real names?) Tiberius???? dissecting spy films! I've always enjoyed spy films but come away from each episode filled to the brim with new, interesting info! Where do you obtain this information? Espionage! Keep up the great work, gentlemen! Ben

Spyhards is a film-review podcast that focuses on spy films of all kinds, so they cover the usual suspects like the James Bond and Mission Impossible franchises. The intro music fits the show perfectly and sounds like it could be the theme music for a Netflix series.The show had a great structure, and Scott and Cam don’t meander too much. After giving their first impressions of the subject of the episode, Cam goes deep into the background of making the film covering things like the budget, box office, casting and any controversies or other newsworthy happenings around the movie.During the actual reviews of the movie meticulously go over the movie and make jokes. This takes up the bulk of the usually 90 min plus runtime.This is really my only beef with this podcast. I like time stamps in the show notes especially for shows that are this long. As an example: They could bookmark their opening remarks about the movie (which is spoiler free), one for the background of the movie, and a couple more at least for the beginning of each hosts’ thoughts about the movie.The show ends with a discussion about whether the movie reviewed earns a spot on the NOC list, which they consider essential viewing for the genre. They keep the running list on their website. They also have guests and interview people who’ve worked on some of these movies whether they be actors, screenwriters etc.Check it out if you like: Spy Movies and some of the behind the scenes stuff about making movies

Highly entertaining. Anybody can give you the spy standards like Bond and Bourne, but SpyHards digs deep into the genre for hidden gems that you may never have heard of...but you should!

As a big fan of James Bond, this podcast is right up my street! The hosts are very knowledgeable about the films they cover (and not just Bond ones exclusively) and the dynamic/perspectives they have between them is fantastic. Highly recommended, and will certainly be working my way through their recorded files for more Intel!
