For Palm Sunday, Senior Pastor Patrick Chandler and Associate Pastor Josh Privitt reflect upon Luke’s account of Jesus’ entry into Jerusalem to begin Holy Week. Together they look at the historical, political, and theological contexts of such an event, as Jesus’ parade to begin Passover rivals another parade on the other side of town – a parade for Caesar.  Through this lens, the events of Palm Sunday are to be experienced as an act of protest against unjust cycles and oppressive systems

Listen as at the pastors of St. Peter’s proclaim, “When Things are Broken, Protest” – a Palm Sunday sermon, part of our Lenten Worship Series, “Breaking Cycles: From Separation to Wholeness.”   Our text for the day is Luke 19:28-40.
