Was mostly a guy talking to himself, but set in Antarctica. Didn't see too much of a story, didn't leave me wanting the next episode. The description mentions something about horror, but this is not a horror or even creepy podcast.
I have started and stopped writing my review for this show so many times. It has nothing to do with the show being bad at all, it's just figuring out how to review to this. I love this show, and I hate it all at the same time. The way it handles mental illness is so real that it gives me chills. I love that it does not pull punches and also hate that it hits so hard at certain moments that I just wanted to crawl into bed and cry. Really an amazing depiction of mental illness and how it can effect someone. I can not wait for the second season, I am just hoping I am strong enough for it.
An unusual tale; hiding under the horror story appearance is an affecting tale of love, mental illness and isolation... which makes it all the more terrifying when the season finale approaches and the horror kicks into high gear. Don't expect a classic 'jump every few minutes' horror story, and you'll be rewarded if you take the time to listen.
BAM! What a premiere! There´s no doubt this is an ambitious show, with lots of characters, a rich soundscape and great music. First episode starts off in a way that you simply have to keep on listening. A very promising start, and I´m definitely hooked!
Alone and isolated with only yourself in the antarctic.
This is worth all my time!
SO GOOD. I've listened to it at least 10 times at this point. I don't even have words for how much I love it. Good god.
Isolation horror done right! A slow burning terror that grips you by the throat and doesnt let go for days... Cant wait to see how this end
Station Blue is just striking. The storytelling and acting are so raw. I felt so much and couldn't look away. I didn't want to look away, even as the story tore at my heart. It's so well done.
