I think on November 5th Randy and Gayle were also spreading the misinformation that Putin was stepping down, not because of Destiel like everybody else, but because they just figured, “Well, a bunch of culturally savvy teenagers with Mitski icons are tweeting about it, surely this must be for real,” and just didn’t question how it was always accompanied by something about a gay angel going to supermegaturbohell. Anyway 0/10 not enough Sobek the Egyptian crocodile god.
This podcast made me intermittently laugh out loud, tear up and randomly scream "What??" which is a sign of an excellent story. Highly recommend for anyone who likes hilariously awkward situations with very silly people doing very silly things. Also: When you stop to look, you can always see me. But if you try to touch me, you can never feel me. Although you walk towards me, I remain the same distance from you. What am I?
First episodes are laugh out loud funny, excellent writing. As the story goes on and fantasy elements are introduced, I started to like it less. I would have preferred if it were a wacky but still realistic story with some biting satire.
It's amazing that this show can rack up so many positive reviews despite being obviously shadowbanned.
Perfect cringe comedy
goofy, silly, friendly, weird, meandering and sometimes delightfully surreal. lots of love poured into this show, made me smile a lot~
Listening to this podcast feels like one big sigh of relief. With all the hectic, neurotic energy in the world these days one would think you wouldn't want to listen to a podcast about conspiracy, but you do. I do! We all do! I usually stick with horror, and the tight branding sucked me in, but I stayed for the multi-episode gags, the endearing characters, the acting, and pacing which keeps it all digestible.
Two Flat Earthers Kidnap a Freemason is one of those shows you can tell might've started as a joke but got its teeth in too deep to shake off- and I, for one, am glad for it. This show is often funny, always irreverent, often biting, and yet strangely compassionate and thoughtful. While the core cast of characters is composed of a diverse group of human disasters you'd never want to be (and likely would never want to be stuck in a room with) you can't help but like them and root for them anyway- or, at least, root for them becoming a little bit less of a walking mess.
This is a show that is truly unique, which is very very hard to do in podcasting! The script is so tight (multi-episode running jokes! character arcs! they've got it all) and if you've ever found yourself exasperated at online conspiracy weirdos, this is a deeply cathartic listed. Do yourself a favor and check it out!
Perfect title, whip-smart writing, cast with incredible talent, just absolute legends. A high-caliber rarity which I'm sure was very challenging to produce. Thank you to Mr. Ellett and everyone who helped push this out into existence.
I love this podcast so much. It's struck just the right tone for the storyline, it embraces every possible gag without needlessly dwelling, and yet, it doesn't hesitate to get into the weeds of it when necessary. Add to that, it's well mixed and acted. Just all in all a great execution of an idea that could have been difficult to execute despite all the promise it has.
