Bob began his financial career in 1993 at J.C. Bradford & Company. At Smith Barney and SunTrust Wealth Management he worked with high net worth clients specifically in the areas of Investment Management, Financial, Estate, and Social Security Planning, Long Term Care, and Business Succession.

Bob earned a BA degree in Speech, Broadcasting, and Government from Anderson University (Indiana) and spent 19 years as a television news anchor and broadcast journalist with both domestic and international assignments. His work has appeared on ABC World News Tonight, ABC’s Good Morning America, and CNN.

Bob is an author, speaker, and teacher. He has delivered video training to national organizations including Hospital Corporation of America, the Republican National Committee, Whirlpool, Armstrong, Bridgestone, Samsonite, SunTrust, and Colgate-Palmolive and has been a trainer at the Billy Graham Training Center.

Bob has served on the boards of Living Sent Ministries, the Christian Business Leaders Roundtable, Asheville Christian Academy (North Carolina) and Youth for Christ of Western North Carolina. He has also served with the American Red Cross, Rotary, Big Brothers Big Sisters and the YMCA and has received the President's Volunteer Service Award. Bob is a member of the Screen Actors Guild, a Toastmaster ACS, and is a certified Master Barbecue Judge having been conferred the title of Ph.B.—Doctor of Barbecue Philosophy—by the Kansas City Barbecue Society.
