This episode is about my first solo trip out of the country. This trip was significant because it allowed me to push myself out of a place of familiarity and INNERstand the importance of self-reliance. This trip started before I even got to the airport. The mental battle of the “what if this happens”, I had to overcome. I told myself every possible bad scenario that could happen, then asked myself if I still wanted to go. The answer was yes, so I booked my flight. To sum it up, through all the confusion and exploration I’d gladly do it all over again.
