By the time the 90s hit, Al had a hard time finding his next big parody subject. He tried to beat the dead Michael Jackson horse again, but that didn't work out. Then, he asked Sir Paul McCartney permission, but was denied AGAIN. Things looked bleak... until a little known band from Seattle called Nirvana exploded onto the scene. Off The Deep End is Al's take on the grunge era of the 90s. Along with the iconic Nirvana, Al tackles the less iconic Milli Vanilli, New Kids on the Block, and Gerardo on this album. Some of it holds up, and some of it doesn't. But Mat Bradley-Tschirgi came on the podcast to talk about it with me and we had a good time!
