Stranger Damies is an actual play D&D 5e podcast that is endearing, lovable, and just downright good dice-rolling with friends. Each character has their own character creation episode which is something that is rarely seen in the D&D podcast scene, and allows you to see the birth of four well-crafted, intentional characters and why the actors create them (with the help of Mark). Containing both new and skilled D&D players, SD really fleshes out the viewpoints and perspectives of arriving at the table with hunger and desire to know what it is to play D&D. What Stranger Damies highlights and exemplifies is a group of friends who love to create and do so from start to finish, with Mark DMing it smoothly, effectively, and patiently. Starting with a module, The Lost Mines of Phandelver, this allows the story to have some familiarity while giving it that SD flair that you will soon know and love. But enough of me talking, give them a listen and you won't be sorry!

I had no expectations for what I could be listening to before I hit play as I’ve never played D&D. I loved the many personalities/voice changes that I heard through out the episode. The background music plays into the game and story very well. Go listen now!
