Today I interview myself about the drinking problem I used to have, how I dealt with it, overcame it and my relationship with alcohol now. When you quit drinking you will lose 90% of your drinking friends, so it’s a lot easier to make new friends from some social hobby first and then quit drinking so your social life is replaced instead of destroyed . You don’t need to be drinking alone in a bathtub on your birthday to have a drinking problem, if your drinking causes problems, you have a drinking problem, and problems are worth solving . Leaving your city makes quitting drinking a lot easier as new people you meet won’t be able to pressure you as much to drink if they don’t know you’re a big drinker .
