Are you a zombie? In this week’s cast Vick and Ian introduce this concept of philosophical zombies. This episode was inspired by David Chalmers who is a leader in the philosophy of consciousness and explains what a philosophical zombie is. However, the Strictly Prohibited community wanted to bring up some parallels between this concept and how we are becoming blind to the world around us. We find our communities married to their phones, computers and video games. Much like philosophical zombies, we begin to lose our subjective experience when we fall victims to the power of technology.
