Hello! I am the author of The Birthday Suit Books: Yearly Guides to Easily Teach Children Ages 1 to 9 About Their Body and Sex, with Book 2 for older kids ages 10-18 coming in a few months.

In these powerful books I clearly teach parent how, when, and what to say as they approach teaching all the difficult topics such as anatomy, sex, fertilization, pregnancy and delivery, safety, and more. Parents can easily follow the lesson plan each year for ages 1 to 9 — Book 2 covers ages 10 to 18 — and take in all the advice from the 126 parents that were interviewed. After teaching High School Health, I also created My Beauty Campaign as a way to learn to love myself again after having children. I had photographers all over the world offering “Beauty Sessions” for women to build their self confidence and begin to truly believe they are beautiful through a photographic experience. After the twins arrived, Mandi changed her focus from the campaign and her photography business to raising her 8 children under the age of 5.

I’m also open to talking about my marriage to my best friend. We are such a great team and our story is quite interesting. My husband is also the Bishop and being a bishops wife is not a title I ever thought I would have. I’ve also played volleyball in just about every capacity. From Collegiately at BYU, to beach, reffing, high school head coach, and now a parent of players. I have plenty to share about parents of athletes too!

In 2019, Mandi had her hardest year of her life. After years of playing beach volleyball in the sun, she randomly found 2 large areas of skin cancer and had 2 spots removed the size of a quarter, and a nickel taken out of her face. The day her stitches were removed, she discovered her 2 year old twin daughter had retinoblastoma. Jules has been sedated 22 times in a year and a half in her miraculous fight against her cancer. Her story is one of faith, and an absolute miracle. Each time her doctors see her, they say her case is not biologically explainable. They use the words “truly remarkable.”
