Katie discusses the benefits of empowering women to trust themselves, their intuition & their body when it comes to giving birth. Our modern system seems to steer women away from intuitive wisdom that they possess, leading them to submit to "authority". In our discussion, Katie recalls the loneliness she felt during her first pregnancy, while at the same time, having primal feelings that she needed community around her. All of this was absent in our modern World, so Katie has took it upon herself to provide that facility to expectant mothers.
