In this last episode of Season 5, Cosmos, MD (cos/they), introduces cosself to you all with cos new pronoun for the first time!  Cosmos explains what the binary means to cos and why cos wants to break it up. 

Taking it one step further, Cosmos has been musing over the existence of spiritual descriptions within the binary and explores how to change that.  Spiritual energy is not gendered but our language makes it that way, from historical stereotypes and expectations of gendered humans.

It's time to really dig into this and question all of it.
