My guest this week was Dolores Seright, who is the author of the book Shattering Barriers: Amazing Women’s Journeys to Personal Empowerment". Her book is a set of interviews with 26 women who each had their unique journey through difficult circumstances and their subsequent victories.

Their stories are relatable to all of us as these women take us through journeys which included battling weight, low self-esteem, bad relationships, and addictions.

Dolores was also very open about her battle with breast cancer and how she dealt with it, survived, and thrived afterwards.

We also discussed pursuing and living our dreams, the importance of self-talk, having solid support sytems, and faith. Dolores also shared how personal development and positive input had a tremendous affect on her life and career, and how positive affirmations can be life-changing.
