The goal of Sound Foundations NW is to be part of the solution for ending homelessness, namely by building transitional tiny homes. And with Seattle's homeless populations, it happens at The Hope Factory located in Sodo. Barb Oliver serves as Operations Manager and volunteer coordinator for Sound Foundations NW. Her role keeps her close with crews of volunteers building the 8 x 12 tiny homes that become a temporary, safe, warm residence for persons who, for various reasons, do not have a safe or secure residence. These constructed dwellings are delivered to Tiny Home Villages where wraparound services are provided, based on residents' needs. Volunteers and donations are welcomed and appreciated.www.soundfoundationsnw.org
