As a part of my Advent discipline this year, I am writing four simple songs for voice and piano around the meanings of Advent candles. The progression of meaning I’ll be following is Hope, Love, Joy and Peace.This is the third of the songs. I won’t have sound files immediately available for the pieces, as the springtime-in-winter weather we’re experiencing is wreaking havoc with my voice. I hope to release sound files, along with usage suggestions for the songs, when I put out a collected version of these pieces once they’re all completed. Until then, I will be sharing the individual sheet musics on a weekly basis throughout Advent.
