Sam Lanier is a Retired California Fire Fighter, Business Owner, and Program Coordinator for the Tahoe Food Hub.
Sam Lanier grew up the child of two Hippie parents. His parents always dreamed of one day owning a small piece of land and living sustainably off the grid. After a career fighting some of largest fires in the west, running a tech startup, and working for one of the largest utilities in the world, Sam decided to live out his passion and fulfill his parents dreams. Sam listed his house for rent, downsized his things, and got a job in management at a ski park in the Sierra Nevadas. He moved his life from a loft in San Francisco and California Craftsmen in Mt Shasta, to a house on wheels. Sam is in the process of finding some land to build a micro farm and live a life of sustainability by reducing his footprint on earth!
