We finally took the dive and plunged into the world of paid advertising, more specifically paid Facebook and Google ads to generate sales leads for our company Otium Group.

It’s something we’ve  wanted to do for years but always saw as a dark art.

Why are we sharing this story with you? In just three weeks we  learnt a number of things that are sure to save other small business owners, thinking of taking on paid ads, from wasting time and money.

No secrets kept here, Drew and Gordo bare all including; how much was spent, how much was made and hot tips on how to go about it.

Here’s a snippet of what’s covered in this ep.

  • Getting started- finding a paid advertising expert who has relevant  experience in your field/industry
  • Targeting your ads- making sure the right leads are coming through and your campaigns are set up correctly to target the right audience for your business/service
  • Engagement- providing fast responses to people who are actively taking the time to engage with you on Facebook and what to do with any negative comments or trolling.
  • Sales process- make sure your sales team is  prepared to handle the increase in leads, and have a process and tools in place to assist the team with conversion.
  • Spend and outcome- how much we spent on paid advertising in a 3 week period and how much revenue was generated from this.
