• I've been hearing 'fans' say the Titans should not really try to win anymore games this season so they will have a higher draft pick next year.I think the earlier they start to get a winning culture in the locker room the better, what do you guys think? • Hey fellas,It’s Joe in Kansas again. Well after some deep soul searching... I was wrong. I must have been in the liquor cabinet a little too much when typing up that last email. Thanks for the intervention. After the game at Houston I was left with a disgusting taste in my mouth, and after the firing of whiz I took a step back and realized, I believe my fear was getting someone else in here that will guide us up to mediocre status, and then just hover there. I realize mediocre looks pretty good when stareing up from the pit we've been in lately, but we can't become the Cleveland browns of the AFC South. Mike Mularkey I believe is a good coach but not head coach material. His 18-32 regular season record as a head coach proves that. I think he is a fine stop-gap for the team for the remainder of the season, but he will have to do a whole lot more then win a few games to convince me that he should be considered for the position permanently. Hoppy, I 100% agree about getting Ruston out of here! No coach can succeed with the type of talent (or lack thereof) that he's compiling.Titans vs. SaintsI've said it before Mariota... Stud. This kid is impressive. I know he still has a lot of growing up, and progression to make, but for a rookie he's showing me more than Locker or Young ever did. Walker has emerged as a true receiving tight end. The defensive line had another nice outing getting to Brees. Aside from Orakapo's complete meltdown in the middle of the Saints drive I thought overall he had a good game. B.W. Webb had a great play intercepting Brees on a drive that looked like it was going to result in at least a field goal. Pretty impressive for a kid to step up like that after being brought up from the practice squad earlier in the week.Players of the gameOffense: I have to split this one. Mariota- another great outing for him, 4 TD's and no picks. Just a solid outing.Walker: Hot potato champion!! Incredible, 3 catches off of deflections. That's stepping up.Defense: I'm giving this to the whole defensive line for creating pressure and making Brees feel uncomfortable at times.Thanks guys I love listening to the show!Josef Cibulski
