== About 'Pride In Higher Aspirations' ==For #PrideMonth2021, we are helping raise aspirations towards Further and Higher Education (FE/HE) amongst LGBTQ+ youth in the East Anglia region. We are gathering together a range of pre-recorded chats, video clips, written case studies, splash posters etc from LGBTQ+ individuals who are in, or have been in, FE/HE. We want youngsters to look at individuals who have obtained a career or job through FE/HE and see themselves, thinking ‘if they can thrive, so can I!’. Throughout #PrideMonth, we’ll schedule these to go out via Take Your Place social media and YouTube. Keep an eye on the #TakeYourPrideHE hashtag throughout Pride Month! To access all the media and more, visit the Pride in Higher Aspirations webpage: https://neaco.eprospectus.co.uk/resources/pages/pride-in-higher-aspirations/
== About neaco Take Your Place ==The Network for East Anglian Collaborative Outreach (neaco) aims to help young people from East Anglia with little or no experience of university to explore the world of higher education. We work with students in years 9-13 who live in areas identified by the Government with low rates of progression to higher education. Visit our website https://www.takeyourplace.ac.uk for more info, resources and events.
