Farmville, Virginia. September 12, 2009. Emma Niederbrock was very excited to attend "Strictly for the Wicked", a music festival in Southgate, Michigan. The lineup for the festival included many of her favorite horrorcore rappers. She and her best friend, Melanie Wells, had gone to several similar events in the past and always enjoyed themselves. But this time was even more exciting, as Emma would be meeting Sam McCroskey (an amateur horrorcore rapper who went by "Syko Sam") in-person for the first time. The two had been talking online and on the phone for about a year at this point. Sam viewed Emma as his girlfriend, even though they had never met face-to-face. But when Emma finally set eyes on Sam in the flesh, she was seriously underwhelmed. Sam did not take the rejection well at all.
