Claire is Headteacher of Holme Grange School, a leading independent school in Wokingham, Berkshire, a position she has held since 2009.
With headship and governor experience in both state and independent schools since 2001, Claire has successfully led Holme Grange through a period of vast change; increasing the age range of teaching to include GCSE and increasing pupil numbers by 250%.
Claire is a visionary head and champions a truly holistic education for every child. In 2005 Claire was awarded ‘Headteacher of the Year in a Primary School for the South of England’ in the National Teaching Awards, and more recently Claire and her team at Holme Grange were awarded the ISA Senior School Award for Academic Excellence and Innovation.
