aZul is a non-profit that teaches adults with disabilities, independent living skills through the use of fashion, art, and design. This organization is dedicated to empowering adults with disabilities to use fashion & industrial design to achieve artistic recognition, dignity, and financial independence.
Before interviewing for this podcast, I found that studies of adult autism are very limited and that most studies are focused on child autism. No different from other humans, these adults need friendship, support, and opportunities to work and play in accepted social settings.
