Ernest Mendoza is a retired Correctional Sergeant with the California Department of Corrections. He started as a Correctional Officer at Calipatria State Prison (Imperial County) in 1997 and promoted to Correctional Sergeant in 2006 at Richard J Donovan State Prison (San Diego County). He medically retired as a Correctional Sergeant in 2014 due to injuries sustained on duty.
