QOTD: have you based your faith on a feeling?⁣⁣God is invisible. we cannot physically see Him. God is Spirit. our communion with God comes through faith, and where does faith come from? hearing the Word of God (Romans 10:17) ⁣⁣basing your communion with God on a feeling is one of the worst things a christian can do. you can’t physically see God, you can’t physically touch Him. therefore relying on feelings or emotions to tell you about your relationship with God can be spiritually deadly as God is beyond our 5 senses. ⁣⁣THE PHYSICAL AND THE SPIRITUAL DO NOT MIX !⁣⁣but we have a 6th sense, FAITH. ⁣come to a Biblical understanding of why you need to follow Christ. thus allowing you to discipline yourself according to the Word of God and His commandments.⁣⁣God isn’t a feeling, but an Assurance♡
