Edinboro grad LaToya Ruby Frazier, associate professor of Photography at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and fellowship recipient of the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation’s MacArthur Fellows Program, continues to make headlines for her work as a photographer and activist.

In her 2019 address at the Edinboro University Commencement Ceremony, Frazier discussed the mission of her art and career, focusing on inequalities in education, economics and the environment.

In this episode of "Tartan Talks" we look back to Frazier's address to the Class of 2019 where she inspired the next generation of Edinboro grads. And check out her most recent feature in the New York Times: https://www.nytimes.com/2021/03/01/t-magazine/latoya-ruby-frazier-photography.html.
