One of the most common complaints from women
0:02
the world over is that they want to be in their
0:04
feminine energy, but they are in a situation
0:06
that makes it impossible
0:07
to do so. For example, they don't
0:09
have any man in their life providing a masculine container,
0:12
or they're in a relationship with a man who has flipped the polarity
0:14
dynamics in the relationship, or they're
0:17
unsafe or in a high-pressure
0:19
environment, or they were traumatized
0:21
or even masculinized as a child, so
0:23
they can't seem to get out of their own masculine
0:26
shield,
0:27
or they may be in a career that absolutely
0:29
requires masculine characteristics. Seeing
0:32
as how this is such a hard and a painful
0:35
experience for women, today
0:37
I'm going to share with you a simple
0:39
hack for getting into your feminine
0:42
energy
0:43
no matter what situation you
0:45
may find yourself in.
0:51
Once upon a time I did a video that
0:53
was titled What Every Man Needs to Know About
0:55
Women. In that video I explained
0:58
that while fear is something that everyone experiences,
1:01
fear plays a different role in the lives of
1:03
men and women. For most women fear
1:05
is a baseline experience of her life, whether
1:07
she is consciously aware of that or not. Women
1:10
respond differently to fear than men do, and
1:12
when a woman is either unsafe or perceives herself
1:15
to be, what tends to happen is that she responds
1:17
to that by putting up a masculine
1:20
shield. She will begin armoring.
1:23
There are some characteristics of feminine
1:25
energy that are very hard to bring
1:27
forward in these kinds of scenarios.
1:30
Things like softness, gentleness,
1:34
sensitivity, kindness,
1:36
tenderness, supportiveness, openness,
1:40
expression of emotions, expression
1:42
in general, receptivity and
1:44
nurturing.
1:46
In most unsafe or high pressure situations,
1:49
these traits make you vulnerable.
1:51
And so they get hidden deep beneath a masculine
1:53
shield. Essentially a woman
1:55
brings forth masculine qualities, including
1:58
shadow masculine qualities. to keep
2:00
herself safe. Things like
2:03
warrior energy, strength,
2:05
assertiveness, bravery, hyper
2:08
responsibility, initiation, driver
2:11
success, action, independence,
2:14
leadership, aggression, hardness
2:16
or even harshness, dominance
2:19
and even control. Another
2:21
way of looking at this is that she brings forth
2:23
protector behaviors that keep her safer.
2:26
But this is not a state that is conducive to
2:28
health in the feminine
2:29
system. This armoring pulls
2:31
a woman out of alignment. And if it's maintained
2:34
over
2:34
long periods of time, it causes sickness
2:36
in her mental body, emotional body and
2:39
physical body. It causes her to suffer
2:41
on all levels. It's
2:43
worth mentioning that the women who you will see
2:45
bring forth traits like softness,
2:47
openness, receptivity and nurturing, when
2:50
they feel unsafe, grew up
2:52
and or are currently in very specific
2:54
environments. Ones in which she
2:56
is safer when she exhibits those traits.
2:59
For example, she may have grown up in a
3:01
society where females were punished for any kind
3:03
of empowered behavior and who were only
3:06
safe and whose needs were only met when
3:08
they behaved in weak
3:09
ways that were not a threat to the men around them. Or
3:11
for example, a woman might be super nurturing
3:14
and
3:14
affectionate with a man when she feels unsafe,
3:16
as a way of controlling his behavior in
3:19
whatever way she wants to control
3:21
it. So things go her way. Or
3:23
a woman might behave in soft
3:25
and receptive ways because she's learned
3:27
that this is what will motivate someone to
3:30
step up and protect her. We
3:32
have the tendency when we think of protector
3:34
personalities to only think of
3:36
masculine protectors.
3:38
The reality
3:39
is a person is going to put forth whatever
3:42
specific traits kept them safe. Or
3:44
whatever specific traits they think will
3:46
keep them safe. Whether that trait
3:49
is more feminine
3:50
or more masculine.
3:52
But all that being said, it is far
3:55
more common that it is the masculine
3:57
traits that a person will bring forth in the face of the
3:59
person. the place of the unsafety that they encounter
4:01
here on Earth. It's
4:03
obvious, right? And most especially in human
4:05
society, because our current society
4:08
that we live in is made by men for
4:10
men. Where
4:12
a great many feminine traits function
4:14
best is within a masculine container.
4:16
To conceptualize masculine containment,
4:19
imagine that in a relationship, a man is a
4:21
clamshell and a woman is like a pearl
4:23
inside that clamshell. This masculine
4:26
clamshell is creating a safe nourishing
4:28
space in which the female can exist or
4:31
occur. It enables a woman to be soft,
4:33
open, receptive,
4:33
and also to grow. If you imagine
4:36
removing that masculine
4:37
shell, the female immediately contracts,
4:39
goes rigid, and into a state of defense. It's
4:41
a coping mechanism rather than a natural feel-good
4:44
state of being. She's forced to compensate
4:46
for that lack of masculine shell
4:49
by becoming masculine herself, and
4:51
this causes a flip in polarity. To
4:53
understand more about this, you can watch my video titled,
4:56
Containment, What a Woman Needs from a
4:58
Man in a Relationship. In
5:00
a tribal setting, which is the social structure
5:02
that is natural for our species, there are many
5:05
men who are providing this containment
5:07
for each woman. And so it would be
5:09
rare for a woman to find herself in a position where
5:11
she lacked containment completely. Alas,
5:14
since our species became agrarian, there
5:16
has been progressively less and less and less containment
5:19
for women. And in today's modern world,
5:21
it is an absolute
5:22
crisis. Today, whether
5:24
we're men or women, we are desperately
5:26
under-resourced.
5:28
We're also not made for the ever-present stressors
5:30
that cause us to feel unsafe today for
5:32
extended periods of time. In other
5:34
words, we may have been biologically designed to
5:36
be able to deal with the stress of being chased by a predator,
5:40
or a fight breaking out, or what have you, but
5:42
not being stuck in a distressing relationship
5:44
pattern day after day after
5:46
day, or the chronic presence of cyberbullying,
5:50
or workplace stress from 9 to 5. And
5:53
this has led to a modern reality where so
5:56
many women around the world are in
5:58
a chronic state of unsafe.
6:00
and as a result, are becoming
6:02
increasingly more and more
6:05
masculinized. The ideal
6:07
situation is that every woman can find
6:09
a life and relationships in which she feels safe.
6:12
This will naturally bring forth these cherished
6:15
qualities, feminine qualities, including
6:18
those that are on the vulnerability spectrum. But
6:20
the reality of today is that many women
6:22
are not in this situation and are desperately
6:24
in pain because they want to be in their feminine
6:26
energy, but they feel like they can't because
6:29
they're not in a situation that is conducive to it.
6:31
And this feels like a very powerless
6:34
space to be, because being able to be in
6:36
your feminine essence feels like it's totally
6:38
dependent on the external world and on other
6:41
people. And let's be honest, they
6:43
seem to be doing their absolute best to make
6:45
it impossible. But today
6:47
I want to offer you a hack for being in your feminine
6:50
energy, something that is not dependent
6:52
on you being in a safe situation or on
6:55
you having a man's providing containment. The
6:57
hack is this, there are many traits
7:00
that are feminine that do not depend on
7:02
being in a safe situation or
7:04
on having masculine containment.
7:06
Therefore, instead of trying to bring forth
7:08
the feminine traits that fall on the vulnerable spectrum
7:10
for you, bring forth the ones that don't.
7:14
Softness might be something that you
7:16
can't bring forth, but flexibility
7:18
on the other hand is a quality of the feminine and
7:21
is something that you can embody no matter how safe
7:23
or unsafe you happen to be, because
7:25
it's a feminine quality that can keep you safer
7:27
in general in a lot of situations. Or
7:30
for example, your body, which is currently
7:33
armored, might feel like solid steel.
7:36
You may not be able to bring forth openness or
7:38
receptivity,
7:38
but water is
7:40
an element of the feminine.
7:42
I need you to remember that there is nothing weak
7:44
about water. Just look at what water
7:46
can do on this Earth. And so you can focus
7:49
on bringing forth the many qualities of water and
7:52
practicing your body as water rather
7:54
than steel. Or for example,
7:56
you may not be able to bring forth nurturing
7:59
energy or being... but offering your
8:01
intuition and wisdom might be something
8:03
that causes you no pain to bring forth no matter the
8:05
situation you find yourself in. Or
8:08
for example, you may not be able to bring forth the quality
8:10
of caretaking, but devotion
8:12
or dedication is something that
8:14
is not dependent on being in a safe
8:16
environment or on having containment.
8:19
Or for example, you may not be able to go with
8:21
the flow of how you feel, but
8:24
you may be able to do a spontaneous movement exercise,
8:27
or you might not be able to bring forth
8:29
cooperation and collaboration, but you may
8:32
be able to bring forth effective verbalization
8:34
and communication, or you may not be able to
8:36
bring forth sensitivity, but you can
8:38
bring forth creativity. That
8:41
there is a femininity hack. Look for
8:43
what aspect of femininity you feel
8:45
like you can't bring forth in general in your life
8:48
and look for periods of time, settings,
8:50
and or situations where you might be able to
8:53
and even more than that, look for aspects
8:56
of femininity that you can bring forward,
8:59
even if there is no man in your life providing containment
9:02
and even when you are in a high pressure or
9:04
unsafe situation and intentionally
9:07
do so. I'm going to say it again. There
9:09
are feminine qualities
9:11
that are in no way vulnerable and
9:13
are in no way weak
9:15
and leaning into these qualities will
9:18
help you to be in your feminine essence. No
9:21
matter what situation you find
9:23
yourself in. Have
9:25
a good week.
