Tech Vitals - An SSR Podcast

As healthcare is changing, it's important for technology and care delivery to align. How does one blend the built environment with fundamental human interaction needs? TechVitals is a discussion of that question. Hosted by Dr. Debbie Gregory and Zac Hillyard, this podcast explores how to mix the human interaction perspective and the technical perspective to build the "future roadmap" for health. Dr. Debbie Gregory is a national leader in healthcare design, innovation, and transformation. As a nurse executive and interior designer, she is passionate about “intentional design” that aligns people, place, process, and technology. Currently, Debbie serves as Senior Clinical Consultant for SSR's Technology Planning Group. In her role, Debbie creates and transforms environments into functional ecosystems using complex systems science, strategic design, and innovation thinking to improve clinical workflow, patient experience, and, ultimately, patient outcomes. She has a doctorate in Nursing Practice in Health Innovation and Leadership and has several university adjunct appointments. Zac Hillyard has a rich background in dynamic design and construction management and the interconnected digital ecosystem is his passion. His experience represents a unique perspective on the common challenges and opportunities that exist within the design and construction process that goes beyond the healthcare market. Through streamlined operations and integrated building solutions, Zac applies technology insights and a combination of intentional design and facility planning to best serve the ROI of customers’ goals and current technology challenges. He has a Bachelor of Science in Building and Construction Management from the School of Technology at Purdue University.
