I am an American kid, whose life was influenced by mind altering circumstances, like murder, abuse, addiction and homelessness, all before I was ten years old. It is the process of life that defines who we are. Failure is a part of the process. Fight or flight, either we summon the strength to survive, or run away from the hardship. Nevertheless, this natural procedure shapes who we become. I remember the first time I heard my mentor, Jim Rohm say, “set a goal to make a million bucks. Not because of the money. But for what you will become in the process."
