Colombian President Gustavo Petro ordered the opening of an embassy in the Palestinian city of Ramallah, Foreign Minister Luis Gilberto Murillo announced Wednesday.
Earlier this month, Petro announced his government's decision to break diplomatic relations with Israel over its actions in Gaza, and closed Colombia's embassy in Tel Aviv on May 3.
