Hello everyone , welcome to

0:03

Thank you . Source , a podcast

0:05

on emotional wellness , spiritual

0:07

growth and self-empowerment . This

0:09

is your host , alice Spring , and in

0:12

today's episode , I would like to talk about

0:14

how to exist within

0:16

transition , within change

0:18

, when you feel like you're in the in-between

0:21

. How do you navigate that and

0:23

how do you keep going ? So let's get right

0:25

into it . So

0:27

this episode is actually inspired

0:31

by another podcast that I was listening to

0:33

called Expanded by Tubi

0:35

Magnetic . I owe a lot of

0:37

my work to them and I will most likely

0:39

refer to them a lot throughout

0:42

this podcast , but

0:44

they're an amazing team

0:47

and they offer so much support and

0:49

I really do owe

0:51

so much of my healing to that program

0:53

and to their podcast

0:56

. So they were talking about this

0:58

similar issue and Lacey

1:00

Phillips , the founder of Tubi Magnetic , was

1:02

talking about where you manifest

1:05

from , whether it's an egoic

1:07

manifestation or whether it's an authentic

1:10

source manifestation , and

1:12

so what I'd like to talk

1:14

about is when

1:16

you manifest from your ego , because

1:18

I do think that there is a distinction between

1:20

manifesting from

1:23

a lower part of your ego

1:25

versus manifesting from a higher

1:27

part of your ego . So let

1:29

me explain Right

1:31

now , as I am pursuing this podcast

1:34

, I am manifesting this

1:36

through accessing

1:40

my highest self and fulfilling

1:42

my potential and my purpose , and

1:44

my true joy and

1:46

to be of service is really what

1:48

I feel like I'm manifesting from . But there

1:50

is a part within me that

1:52

the ego has

1:55

to keep pushing me . There is this

1:57

sense of desire

2:00

that , like , okay , where we've gotten

2:02

to this point , where we've leveled

2:04

up our self-worth enough for us to actually

2:07

pursue this , we

2:09

now have to maintain

2:11

this energy . And so there is still

2:14

a slight level of attachment

2:16

towards keeping this

2:19

vibration of a high self-worth

2:21

, of sharing my message and

2:23

being confident while doing it , because

2:26

I can't let myself slip back

2:28

, because it's not going

2:30

to be fruitful to the process

2:32

. And so there is a level

2:34

of ego that's still there

2:37

that I believe is helping

2:39

me , and there is a level

2:42

of ego that is still there

2:44

that's not helping me , that I'm doing

2:46

everything I can to shift away

2:48

from . And so that part of the ego that I don't

2:50

believe is helping me is the

2:52

self-critical thoughts , the self-doubt

2:55

, the self-sabotaging behavior

2:57

, if that does ever come up . So those

2:59

are all the things that want to keep me small

3:01

, they want to keep me safe and

3:04

they just don't want me to leave

3:06

outside of my comfort zone . So

3:08

I'm aware

3:11

of when those thoughts come up and

3:13

I shift my awareness from

3:16

that to being like nope , that's

3:18

no longer in alignment with where we're

3:20

at . And it's

3:22

taken so much time for me

3:24

to , number one , be even aware of what

3:26

those thoughts were Like . I didn't know I was

3:28

self-sabotaging . I was really

3:31

unaware that I had those tendencies

3:33

and I knew I was self-critical

3:36

and I knew that I had self-doubt

3:38

. I didn't know that I had imposter

3:40

syndrome . So that was something that came into

3:42

my field that educated

3:45

me and helped me

3:47

work through some of the things that I was

3:49

dealing with . But now

3:51

I've done enough work where

3:54

I've accessed enough of my self-worth

3:57

to know what is coming from a low

3:59

sense of self and what is coming from a high

4:01

sense of self . So that took so much

4:03

time , honestly . I mean honestly

4:06

like the better part of a decade . When I

4:08

say time , I mean girl , it took fucking

4:10

time . And then

4:13

the second part of it is actually

4:15

gaining the courage to pursue

4:17

this work and to go for my dreams

4:19

. That's a whole other thing that also

4:22

took that much time . I

4:25

just wanted to make this distinction between

4:27

how your ego can still

4:30

be of service to your process . It's

4:32

helping me maintain this vibration

4:34

, like I'm staying on top of my

4:36

meditations , my affirmations , like everything

4:39

that I need to ingrain

4:41

this sense of self-worth into

4:43

me so that I can continue doing this work

4:45

I am doing , and that is coming

4:48

from a partially egoic place

4:50

, because I am attached to this new level

4:52

, this new vibration that I

4:54

can't lose , you know . So

4:57

I do think that it is helping me

4:59

in the long run and I do

5:01

think it's still helpful to remain detached

5:04

to a certain degree . But

5:07

if I wasn't attached , then I would just be

5:09

like I don't care , I guess , whatever , I

5:11

just won't do the podcast Like and it doesn't matter

5:13

, or whatever you know , I would just like go

5:15

and fully surrender and just live in a cave

5:17

in the Himalayas like yogis

5:20

. Do you know , if I was in full surrender , there

5:22

is a part of my ego , though , that's still

5:24

there , that knows I

5:26

meant to do this work and it knows that it's

5:28

meant for me to fulfill my potential

5:30

and to be of service and to spread

5:33

, spread the healing that I

5:35

know will help others . Hopefully

5:38

that can help you within

5:40

your own manifestation journey , seeing

5:42

how the ego might keep you

5:44

limited , but also seeing how the ego

5:47

might help you push

5:49

through and push

5:51

through the uncomfortability and leave

5:53

your comfort zone and really pursue

5:55

the things that you know your soul is

5:57

asking for you to do . Another

6:01

thing TBM likes to talk about is

6:03

jumping off the cliff , and

6:06

they do everything that

6:08

they can to help prepare you to

6:10

jump off this cliff , like raising your self-worth

6:13

. And , let's say , you are pursuing a career , like

6:15

I am , finding a bridge job and finding

6:17

and having an FU fund . So

6:19

it's like six to 12 months where

6:22

you can have all of your bills

6:25

covered so that you can pursue this

6:27

with confidence and that you're not worried about

6:29

your finances during that time . Jumping

6:32

off the cliff , though , for me as a highly

6:34

sensitive person , can be so overwhelming

6:36

and so dysregulating to me that

6:39

I need to . Instead

6:41

of just making this huge

6:43

jump , it's like just expanding

6:46

my comfort zone ever so slightly

6:48

and then reaffirming

6:50

to my nervous system that it's safe to be one

6:53

step outside of my comfort zone , and then

6:55

, with each step , I'm expanding and expanding

6:57

and expanding so much until I

6:59

finally do have the courage and faith

7:02

to make that final jump . And

7:04

so , by the time I get to that final jump , it's

7:06

not going to feel like I'm free falling off of

7:08

a cliff . It's going to feel like I've

7:10

built the muscles , I've built the

7:12

trust and awareness to be able

7:14

to say to myself okay , I've

7:16

survived all of these little

7:19

jumps in the past , like , I have

7:21

enough trust and confidence with myself that

7:23

I can make this last final jump into doing

7:25

what it is that I want to do and to doing

7:27

my passion project . Hopefully

7:29

that's another perspective that can

7:32

help you as well when

7:34

you're thinking about really going

7:36

for something . Maybe

7:38

going for it immediately

7:40

is just too jarring

7:42

to your nervous system , and then that's

7:44

why you have to retreat and that's why all

7:47

this self doubt comes in and all of this like

7:49

shame and programming comes in , because

7:52

your nervous system just isn't

7:54

ready yet and so we have to take

7:57

baby steps to get there . And

7:59

I think that that is more

8:02

helpful to me than

8:04

to just fully jumping off the cliff

8:06

and having to be in full surrender , because

8:08

that's just not . It's

8:11

just too dis-regulating

8:13

for me , like I can't handle it , and

8:16

so reminding yourself to take

8:18

baby steps along the way and

8:20

, whenever you can , find

8:22

a way to step out of your comfort zone

8:24

just a little bit and even make it a routine

8:27

to step out of your comfort zone , and when you

8:29

start getting comfortable with being uncomfortable

8:32

, that's when you'll really be able

8:34

to expand past all of your

8:36

limits and soon enough

8:38

you'll find yourself at a completely different

8:40

space in your life and you're like , wow , like I used

8:43

to be scared of this , and now I'm doing this

8:45

like a pro , I'm doing this with

8:47

ease and grace , like , and I didn't

8:49

even realize that I've come this far until

8:51

you really reflect and look back and

8:53

I think that it's really with those , those baby

8:55

steps and those little leap frogs , rather

8:57

than than a full , full

9:00

cliff dive into open water

9:02

, a

9:05

huge part of the process , I think

9:07

, is a combination of effort

9:10

and trust , and

9:12

so what that means

9:14

to me is like knowing

9:17

and trusting that I meant to do

9:19

something greater than just working in nine

9:21

to five . I know that

9:23

I meant to share

9:25

a message . I know that I meant

9:27

to heal through my voice . I did

9:30

always know that

9:32

I was meant to teach , and

9:34

so there's

9:36

that trust there , there's that knowing , that

9:38

intuition , that pull from the

9:40

universe and from my soul , but

9:43

it's not going to come to me if

9:45

I don't take

9:47

the effort and show up , and

9:50

it has taken so

9:52

much internal work and so much reflection

9:54

, dark nights of the soul

9:56

and many

9:58

peaks as well , many high moments

10:01

as well , that have helped me

10:03

come into this space of high

10:05

self-worth for me to be able to actually pursue

10:07

this and regulating my nervous system enough

10:10

to help me understand that it

10:12

is safe to fully step into this role as a

10:14

teacher and healer . But it is

10:16

still taking a lot of energy

10:18

, time and my resources

10:21

to be able to show up in a way that

10:23

I can show the universe

10:25

and myself that I'm serious

10:27

about this , that , like this is what I want

10:29

and I'm not fucking around

10:32

. Like I have

10:34

to show it with my actions , and that's

10:36

also my word of the year

10:38

for 2024 is action . I

10:41

get really caught up in analysis , paralysis

10:44

and procrastination and overwhelmed

10:46

with perfectionism , and so taking

10:48

action has been a notoriously

10:50

difficult thing to do

10:53

for me in my past . A lot of self-doubt

10:55

creeps up , and so I just

10:58

have to push myself to doing

11:00

things , and this is

11:02

definitely it . So this is

11:04

a process , or this is the result

11:07

, of me taking action

11:09

, being scared , shitless and

11:11

doing it anyways , overcoming

11:14

my overthinking and

11:16

and all of that , and so

11:18

that takes a lot of effort , like it's scary

11:20

, but so far

11:22

the universe has been showing

11:25

me that my effort is

11:27

being rewarded in the

11:29

smallest of ways possible

11:32

. It's just little pings

11:34

that you'll get from the universe , little like

11:36

twinkles , little winks that you'll get

11:38

, that it's like I see you source

11:41

. I know that that

11:43

was a little confirmation for

11:45

me and I'm gonna continue doing this

11:47

. It'll just be even like me

11:50

talking to someone and they're like you should

11:52

start a podcast , and so it'll just be

11:54

like wow , okay , so that was definitely confirmation

11:57

that you're doing the right thing , that you're on the right

11:59

path and that people

12:02

want to listen to you , that you have

12:04

something valuable to say , and that has

12:06

been a difficult process for me to come to

12:08

. It's like overcoming that imposter

12:10

syndrome like who am I ? Why

12:14

should I step into a healer and teacher

12:16

role ? Who would even listen to me and why

12:18

is my voice important ? And

12:20

if that ever is a thought , I

12:22

just remember that I

12:24

have such a bigger mission

12:26

here and I just

12:29

I just then tune into

12:31

my inner child . Actually , honestly , what

12:33

I do is I'm like , okay , well , why are

12:35

you scared ? What is it that you need

12:38

that I'm neglecting right now ? Do

12:42

you need food , do you need water , do you need

12:44

a nice bath ? Like , do you need to go outside

12:46

and play a little bit ? Like , what is it

12:48

that you actually need ? Because that fear

12:50

might also be telling you that you're neglecting

12:52

a certain part of yourself , that you're neglecting

12:55

some of your needs . And

12:57

so I

12:59

like to tune into my inner child when I

13:01

do have those self-doubt thoughts

13:04

come up , but anytime

13:07

I have in the recent , in

13:09

the recent past , I've gained

13:12

the strength recently to

13:14

be able to shift my perspective and being

13:16

like , no like , I'm aware that that thought

13:18

is no longer serving me . What is the opposite

13:20

of that thought ? And that thought

13:22

is actually where I'm meant to go

13:25

, and when I am able to make

13:27

that connection and make that switch , I

13:29

instantly feel like an

13:32

expansion within my heart . I instantly

13:34

start to see within my posture that

13:36

I'm standing taller , standing more broadly

13:39

and really taking up space , not being

13:41

afraid to really show

13:43

up and be seen . That's another fear

13:46

that I've really had to overcome

13:49

with this whole process . But

13:51

through me sharing my story , I just

13:53

hope to be an

13:55

expander and an inspiration

13:57

for anyone listening that that

14:00

it takes time , that it does take

14:03

effort , unfortunately , but

14:05

it is met with the universe

14:07

. How you show up is how the universe will show up

14:09

for you . It is a reflection

14:11

, it is a mirror . Everything that you do does not

14:13

go unseen by the universe and

14:17

your efforts will be rewarded

14:19

, even if it doesn't look like that

14:21

. Now it's just so important to

14:23

have that trust , which is that second part

14:25

of the effort , and the trust knowing

14:28

that things will come back full circle

14:30

and knowing that your efforts aren't being wasted

14:32

. That

14:35

is also patience and time

14:37

. It is a muscle that you have to build within

14:39

yourself to

14:41

be strong enough to have that trust . But

14:43

hopefully with community , hopefully with this podcast

14:46

, hopefully with my message , you can

14:48

see that it is possible and

14:51

that if it is happening

14:54

to me , someone who's just a random average

14:56

person , it

14:58

can happen to you too , who's probably also

15:01

just a random average person

15:03

. But I

15:06

do believe that miracles happen every

15:08

day . I know that might be really cheesy , but

15:10

I say that I manifest

15:12

many and massive miracles every

15:14

single day . Like a mini miracle

15:16

is it can literally be

15:18

just you waking up or just a little synchronicity

15:21

, and I'll always notate it

15:23

in my journal at the end of the day Like I had

15:25

a mini miracle today . This and this happened

15:27

. It was so amazing , like I'm so grateful , thank

15:29

you , source , and just really recognizing

15:32

everything that God is giving

15:34

us in that day . And then there are massive miracles

15:37

, like just the larger

15:39

things that you're really calling in , that happen

15:42

, or maybe unexpected things that happen and

15:44

you're like , holy shit , I'm totally blindsided

15:46

. This was amazing and I

15:48

can't believe that just happened and there's

15:50

so much magic in our

15:53

lives . It's really up to us

15:55

to see the beauty

15:57

in every day and I know that

15:59

if you're in like a dark place , it can be difficult

16:01

to hear such a message , but

16:04

life is cyclical . It does wax

16:06

and wane and we do always

16:08

have peaks and valleys that we'll experience

16:11

. And it's

16:13

important to remember these messages

16:15

, especially if you're in a dark place . Like

16:17

I don't hope that you're in a dark place

16:19

, but I hope that this message does get

16:22

to someone who is in a dark place and

16:24

that this message can be a glisten

16:27

of a little sparkle in their

16:29

darkness and reminding them

16:31

that there is hope and that there is a silver

16:33

lining somewhere . It's up to

16:35

you to see it and only

16:38

you can choose to see the

16:40

good in your life and choose to

16:42

continue attracting those positive

16:45

things and though that gratitude

16:47

within yourself and within the

16:49

people around you and your community and

16:51

just everything in your life . So

16:54

I hope that was helpful . Thank

16:57

you for joining me in this episode

17:00

. If you enjoyed

17:02

it , please leave a review

17:04

. I still feel super awkward being like can

17:07

you , can you please leave a review

17:09

for me ? It really helps me out . Subscribe

17:12

to the podcast , like , and

17:16

I'll catch you next time or

17:18

don't , whatever you want to do , but

17:21

either way I love you so much

17:23

and with that

17:25

I say thank you . Source .
