Healing codependency has meant growing in a awareness of patterns, and specifically the one where I abandon myself and what is important/in alignment for me to ensure someone else doesn't get mad/leave/abandon etc. What I realized is that by abandoning myself and what was being put on my heart, I was actually delaying the beautiful fulfilling life I desire.
