Do you know what business you are really in? Do you know what you want? Do you know who and what you are? Do you know why you are doing this?

Free enterprise capitalism is the most powerful system for social cooperation and human progress ever conceived.  It is one of the most compelling ideas we humans have ever had.   But we can aspire to even more.

To summarize the key steps I discuss in this episode:

• Start with the /your Why:  Determine the reason for undertaking a particular endeavor: New Business, Product Line, Product, Service, or Project.
• Challenge the team to reframe the paradigm and understand what opportunities this opens up for the business.
• Use these Tools: Value Statement, Mission Statement, Vision Statement
• Identify/Determine your Goals:  At this stage, these goals could be quantifiable or they may be more conceptual.
