This week the guys DISCover a sport that's growing MUCHLY, in the country! DISC GOLF! Scott Stokely joins the Lounge, owner of 17 national and world tournament & distance titles, and professional disc golfer!
Scott has been playing disc golf, on and off, for almost 40 years, and he enlightened the guys about the world that none of them knew about! How much does it cost to play? How about getting a set of discs to be able to play? Can you throw with both hands? Where can you play? Are there similar rules and approaches to disc golf compared to "ball" golf? Every single one of these questions is answered!
How did Scott get started playing? What made him play every day? Scott talks about a low time in his life and how going into a disc golf store made him realize what he needed to do to straighten things out!
The guys talk about Blue Power, a venture Scott started. It's adaptive disc golf for people with special needs! It allows ANYONE to be able to play the sport he loves, and allows the game to grow across ALL different groups!
There is nothing that's off-limits! He talks about how he doesn't have a home any longer, and he doesn't EVER intend for that to change! What does he like to do, "for fun?" HAHA... also what he and his girlfriend like to do in towns they visit!
Scott ends the hangout with a story about the BEST "attraction" he and his girlfriend had visited! It is HILARIOUS!
