I first met Nialler9 at one of the early Irish Blog Awards shows. He won Best Music Blog for about 50 consecutive years and nialler9.com is one of the most well regarded and influential music sites in Ireland (and beyond).

Since starting his blog in 2005, he's written for the Irish Independent, the Irish Times and more; he's become a DJ and does a weekly radio every Thursday at 10pm on @TXFMDUBLIN.

We chat about how the site began, how it's developed, the doors its opened for him, the huge volume of email and correspondence he gets, the music industry and, excitingly, basket weaving. No, really!
