Captain Carter, our time traveling hero, makes a return to assist the Avengers as things are not quite what they seem. Storms are tearing the world apart, and the Avengers are torn because of it.

We see many familiar faces (and voices) along the way, ultimately leading to a conclusion of happy endings never arriving for some of our heroes.
