This week, Nat and Ali are joined by the gorgeous and talented comedian, actor and writer, Lauren Pattison. Lauren is a stand-up comedian and in 2017 was nominated for the Best Newcomer award at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival for her show Lady Muck. Previous to that, Lauren was a finalist in the 2016 BBC New Comedy Award and the 2015 Chortle Student Comedy Awards. She has been on a guest on several television shows, most notably Roast Battle on Comedy Central. Lauren has supported Katherine Ryan and Jason Manford, as well as playing at comedy festivals around the world and touring extensively in Australia, New Zealand, and Canada. In 2018, Lauren returned to the Edinburgh festival with her show, Peachy. In April 2019, Lauren began co-hosting the podcast Conversations Against Living Miserably with Aaron Gillies supported by Dave.

In this episode, Lauren talks about her lockdown 'career change' that has given her a sense of purpose and routine, pioneering socially distanced gigs by performing in an Edinburgh car park and why gigs on Zoom are like Quorn sausages...
