In a place with such an ample supply  of sun shine, why is it that Africa is not mobilising enough on solar energy ? 

Tune in as I talk to Wing Hang Mathieu TSE about an extremely interesting social impact project that he is currently working on towards solving electricity problems in Togo, West Africa.

Wing was born in Hong Kong and grew up in French Guiana. With an education background in engineering and chemistry and a masters in entrepreneurship, he says that growing up in French Guiana is one of his biggest reasons for his passion in emerging markets and social impact entrepreneurship. 

He is co-CEO of Teranga Trade and shares his insights, and the challenges that have come with his social impact project, ‘Winko’ - a solar power project providing affordable pay as you go solar systems, which he started with Togolese partner, Akonkwa Mubagwa.
