In this rant, I talk with a Liberian-American living in Ireland. Melvina has been living abroad for the last two years. She and I discuss how our views of racism abroad have changed.

Before moving abroad, we had ideas that racism and Anti-Blackness was an American thing like apple pie. From James Baldwin to Nina Simone before us, we saw many Black artists find their liberation in Europe. Not to add the numerous stories by Black "ex-pat" about how their lives had changed for the better moving abroad.

Two-years in, we both have learned that ANTI-BLACKNESS is global!!!!
