Orca doesn't consider the shift in their behavior of damaging human boats "odd" as we do; they consider it to be appropriate. As a fellow apex predator, they understand the ocean to be a mutual hunting ground with our species and they would much rather hunt together. Absent that, they'll take what they need and move other hunters out of the way. Especially hunters who refuse to play by apex predator rules. Not surprisingly, Wolf, another apex predator and co-keystone species agrees. Why don't we?!
