There is one thing that people tend to overlook when reviewing Studio Chizu’s BELLE. Despite being directed by legendary filmmaker Mamoru Hosoda (Wolf Children, The Girl Who Leapt Through Time) and providing an optimistic take on technology and the internet, the film falls short when it attempts to portray how people should safely help victims of abuse.  SPOILERS
