Award-winning series Made in Abyss is praised for its painstakingly crafted worldbuilding and heart-wrenching stories. But between questionable depictions of young characters, truly disturbing scenes, and the 'desires' of the creator on full display, fans have questioned the integrity of the anime and manga.
